Save the immigrants, to spare the prime minister having to witness another tragedy – as reported in the press yesterday:
Dr Muscat, who was speaking on a visit to a cancer hospital in Jerusalem last night, said the migrants were being brought to Malta because it was the closest port. “They were in distress, I do not want to witness another tragedy.”

The last lot of rescued refugees were much nearer to Lampedusa than Malta.
As soon as they were forcibly detained at the Safi Detention Centre they caused a disturbance because they did not want to stay. They wanted to proceed to Italy.
He was always fluent in rubbish, more so now.
Watch this and weep. There’s never a trace of concern about anyone other than himself.
