“ghalkemm fl-opinjoni ta’ din il-Qorti ma jistghax jghid b#certezza li dan huwa r-rikorrenti”
Tajjeb ukoll! Lanqas biss hemm prova li l-persuna fuq l-istill tax-CCTV huwa Norman, ghal-Qorti. Ahseb u ara kemm hemm ‘delitt’.
Ma jistghax johrog minnha din, il-Kummissarju.
Good.
The government tried to hide from the public the fact that the Coconut functionnaire in charge of government communications was travelling with Ramona Attard, the Communications Coordinator of Manwel Mallia.
Now, besides being splashed over all the media in Malta and on the world wide web, this fact is also documented in a decree of the courts so that this trip now forms part of the jurisprudence of Malta, to be referred to in future disputes involving abuse of power by the police.
Does anybody know when these people will return? It would be nice to have a photo shoot at the airport (obviously not in the restricted area).
I simply cannot comprehend all the fuss about a photo taken (if there ever was a photo taken) of two public people, employed by the government, therefore being paid by the tax payers, at the airport on the way to attending some Course, also being paid by the tax payers.
In my opinion, this matter should have stopped at the stage of someone complaining about this ‘supposed’ photo. That is exactly where the abuse of power commenced.
I think that this biblical quote fits perfectly.
Proverbs 17: 25-28
A foolish son brings grief to his father
and bitterness to the mother who bore him.
If imposing a fine on the innocent is not good,
surely to flog honest officials is not right.
The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint,
and whoever has understanding is even-tempered.
Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent,
and discerning if they hold their tongues.
