Busuttil delivered. I didn’t believe he had it in him but he tore them to shreds.
Seeing the prime minister laughing like an idiot as if everything he was hearing was a joke was proof enough that the truth hurt and that he doesn’t know how to behave like a grown-up.
If he continues like this we’ll have some oaf jumping the bench trying to punch the Opposition leader. Shame Il-Guy is now too old to do it, as he has lots of experience.
Busuttil exceeded my expectations – he was excellent and gave the Prime Minster a real good thrashing.
Prosit ta’ veru.
Well done, Simon Busuttil – you gave a fantastic speech. Pity you had to face a bunch of giggling school kids.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel. Well done, Dr Busuttil.
I particularly enjoyed the parts were Marie Louise Coliero and Joe Mizzi were mentioned and their mediocrity exposed, the latter changing colour in his excitement.
Bhal ma gara fil-kaz ta’ Lawrence Gonzi wara li lahaq flok il-kbir Eddie Fenech Adami uhud minn-Nazzjonalisti kienu daqxejn xettici fuq Simon Busuttil.
Imma issa jidher li qed jigi kollox ghan-normal. U n-normal tal-Partit Nazzjonalista tafu x’ inhu? Li l-PN hu partit kbir u kapijiet kbar johorgu minnhu u z-zibel bhal Dalli, Franco, JPO, u Mugliette narmuh.
Dr. Busuttil has shown the PL for what it really is: unreliable, unscrupulous, arrogant and deceitful.
Are the Nationalists still in doubt about their leader?
No, roundhead. The man has a functioning brain.
But he has to get a little nastier because that is the only language the toads will understand. But give him some time and he will toughen up and be even more effective.
Good speech but he made one concession which he should never have made.
Dak l-idjota Anglu Farrugia jaf jaqra? “pee emme”.
What a cretin.
Last night I finally saw and heard the Simon Busuttil I wanted and wished for since being elected.
Enjoyed every second of Dr. Simon Busuttil’s speech. His class and statesmanship continues on the same line as that of his predecessors. What a track record for the PN to produce such good leaders. What a difference from the ones produced by the Labour Party machine.
