  1. Wilson says:

You know very well that many Maltese would sell their mother for a few dollars. Hence, the national character has finally come out.

    • Tarzan says:

Wilson, your comment is very insulting to all Maltese. Most people I know are compassionate and truly kind hearted. Of course you can find greedy and selfish and stupid people. But then you can find them in every nation.

  2. wonderland says:

In my opinion, It can’t be better but will get definitely worse.

As anticipated, our system of selling an EU pass in such a fashion has made Malta’s integrity seriously questionable. Malta’s repute as a financial service centre is meanwhile degenerating fast.

  3. Min Jaf says:

Muscat has really put Malta on the map, and all of us on the spot, with his hare-brained, money-grubbing, IIP initiative.

  4. Freedom5 says:

Can we have the link to this ..

  5. H.P. Baxxter says:

    Mein Gott nimm mich.

  6. Rumplestiltskin says:

What a feather in Joseph Muscat’s and Labour’s cap. Making Malta the laughing stock of its EU partners and the world.

  7. nutmeg says:

The Lampedusa tower is flying the EU flag, while Malta’s is not. Very telling.

  8. Catharsis says:

In Malta, the EU flag is on the inside.

  9. Adam James says:

Well, it was bound to happen at some point or another, but I wasn’t expecting it so quickly!

Years to build a good reputation only to be lost in just 9 months time . Labour will have to pay greatly for this cock up .

  11. Tarzan says:

One chain of the bridge is broken, and the other is flimsy and loose. I think it’s a subtle way of ridiculing the “due diligence” of the whole mess we are in.
