GENSNA TAL-LABOUR: From ‘Mitna Ghal Barrani’ to ‘Nbieghu Passaporti Lil Barrani’

That would make a great song for the bewigged Labour crooner Renato, wouldn’t it?

“Nbieghu passaporti
Qalb it-tifrik.
Indahhlu l-miljuni
Jew kif qal Manuel ta’ Codruta
Il-biljuni…
Mill-hakem Ciniz.”

Meanwhile, here’s Gensa – the Jesus Christ Super Star rip-off scene:

Henley & Partners said that there are already a number of applicants for the Maltese-citizenship-by-sale and that they are mostly Chinese.

So now we know which country paid for the Tana Lkoll electoral campaign.

I find it amazing that Joseph Muscat – he who wanted the Maltese to have a “Partnership” but not full membership of the EU – is now offering immediate full membership with an EU passport to the rich Chinese (and others) rather than insisting that they form a “Partnership” with Europe. So the partnership was good for us, but is not good for the Chinese.

Objectively, it is not the passports that are being bought by China here, but Malta’s independence as a European and Mediterranean nation. The Chinese have bought control over our government. There are strong undertones of the Chinese influence in the actions of the government: the introduction of the Chinese language in Maltese schools, the sale of Enemalta to a company controlled by the Chinese government, the appointment of Shiv Nair – China’s secret weapon who is permanently debarred for fraud and corruption by the World Bank – as consultant to the Prime Minister, the acceptance of a euro 4 million feasibility study from a firm debarred by the World Bank, the appointment of a Minister’s wife to an “ambassadorial” role in China, the Finance Minister’s promise to help the Renminbi become a strong international currency, the visits by Chinese frigates, the Prime Minister’s travels to China – the list is endless.

Malta is effectively China’s new province in the Mediterranean and the EU.

Maybe the reason why Henley and Partners aren’t informing their clients about the possibility of their passport being revoked is that they’re pretty sure Labour will be in government again especially through the votes of these ‘new’ citizens.

What guarantees do we have that there won’t be some kind of special offer a year before the election to sell more passports, thus ensuring a comfortable majority for Labour?

[Daphne – Citizenship is a prerequisite for voting but in and of itself, it does not give one the right to vote.]

From a false pretence that we Maltese “mitna ghal-barrani” (“we died for the foreigner”) the Malta Labour Party has pushed Malta down to “Lill-Malta qahhabniha ghall-barrani” (“We have prostituted Malta for the foreigner”)
