Contrast with their Austrian Citizenship by Investment page: https://www.henleyglobal.com/countries/austria/citizenship-in-austria/
“The grant of citizenship on the basis of an investment involves various procedures and requires Government approval at several levels. It is therefore essential that the applicant is properly advised from the beginning, that each individual case is carefully prepared and that informal approvals from the key ministries are obtained before the investment is made and the formal application process is started…
…The average time frame for an application is 12 – 18 months.”

Shall the terrorists and money-launderers wait for the after Christmas sale? They might save EUR 100,000 at least.
Who is arrogant now? Selling our citizenship without even waiting for the law to pass in Parliament.
I wonder what the pseudo liberals have to say about this.
All they wanted was a lollipop to suck on, and they did not give a damn about anything or anybody else. And Joey bought them with your taxes. Get used to it. Everything is a lie from now on. The truth is on an official five year holiday.
After so much hullabaloo regarding the European Union, Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici is being so conspicuous with his silence about this issue.
KMB is in mental breakdown mode, since he was told that the attack on the Curia by his aristoctracts was of great advantage to the Curia.
He is now contemplating an attack on the Labour Party Headquarters by the DISCHARGED ARRIVA EMPLOYEES.
Let’s face it, with a majority of 9 seats, the whole concept of parliamentary debate and due process is moot.
I have given Simon Busuttil and PN lots of stick in the last year and especially in the last 6 months.
They have been absent, weak, and have sat on the sidelines way too much for my liking.
However, it was a pleasure to listen to Busuttil’s speech in parliament this week where he commented on the sale of passports and condemned it in a very clear and well structured manner.
It is however going to take much more than the odd topnotch speech to rally the troops behind him in time for the next election.
We want to hear the PN become more vociferous, and to hold the government to task, keep it on its toes, and for all its worth, become like the Labour Party in Opposition, never losing a chance to take a potshot at a target. You might miss the target, but everybody takes note of the shot.
Jason Azzopardi is showing potential deputy leadership material, whereas it pains me to say that my preferred candidate, Mario De Marco, and his colleague Beppe Fenech Adami are fading fast.
Azzopardi is going strong and let’s hope he stays that way. We need politicians who make themselves heard and the electorate will take note if you succeed where others are failing.
Sounds similar in concept to all the pre-election agreements and pre-tender award contracts.
Sounds like an assertion of rights by Henley, should the issue threaten to heat up and become less certain despite the large parliamentary majority they are counting on to carry their done-deal forward.
Henley probably thought by now this would have been passed in parliament…
