Progressive, liberal…bullies

At today’s hearing about Nationalist MP Claudette Buttigieg’s disputed 50 votes in the last general election, her lawyer Therese Comodini Cachia had to face down SIX lawyers fighting the case for the Labour Party.
They were led by the embittered, nasty Pawlu Lia – chief lawyer to the Labour Party, who has now occasionally been seen to smile – and included that Gozitan village harridan, Justyne Caruana.
They tried to stop the process and asked the magistrate not to allow Claudette Buttigieg’s witness to testify. Their request was refused.

What they did to Claudette, they must have done to other PN candidates. The swapped votes went unnoticed giving an exaggerated seat majority for PL.
Well, at least they stopped short of threatening to ‘burn down’ the Law Courts (even figuratively, I mean).
‘village harridan’ – I can picture Justyne Googling the definition on her smartphone as she waits for the Gozo Ferry as, you know, she doesn’t have the balls to turn it back like the other (underpaid) village lawyer with the Eur800,000 bank loan.
Socialist = bully
Perfect synonyms
I can picture Dr Justyne Googling ‘village harridan’.
