Whoever wrote Muscat’s speech should be stood against a wall, blindfolded and shot after his or her last cigarette

It’s bad enough that he stood up in London and gave a speech – in a clunking redneck accent – about English being our “second language” and how half the world sends their children to Malta to learn English.

Not if they heard him speak, they wouldn’t.

The content of that speech is itself ungrammatical and awful. Look at this, for instance – whoever wrote it can’t distinguish between the completely different meanings of ‘access to’ and ‘access for’.

The only people in this equation who have ACCESS TO high net worth individuals (it’s not a proper noun, darlings, so lose the capital letters) are the Labour Party themselves. And they, in turn, provide ACCESS FOR those individuals.

From Muscat’s speech:

We will lead in Europe by offering the most straightforward access to High Net Worth Individuals who seek a better way of life.

I guess, from experience now not just presentiment, that “better” for Joseph Muscat means: unethical, unprincipled, where the highest bidder wins, where black and white are constantly interchangeable; where one is rewarded for being crooked, stupid enough and/or one is looked up to if one is more crooked and craftier than him.

    Despicable and evil.

I wager that 40% of Labour voters have no sensitivity to history where this means before Mintoff, and hardly any inkling of European history outside what they relate to of Malta’s own history.

Bit of a contradiction in terms is it, how can Muscat offer a better way of life to ‘High Net Worth Individuals’?

Now remove logic and truth from the balance and it all makes perfect sense. With a good number of people who are allergic to books and with only a couple of TV channels on their remote and who have been groomed on hatred and force fed the ‘us and them’ mentality, the more ambiguous the terminology the more adulation all around.

Contradiction in terms? What contradiction? There has to be something other than basic brain activity for that to be detected. As we have seen democracy backfires when the voters are lab rats.
