And gosh, look: he’s started by damming a report. Next up: Msida creek.
As I have said all along: an organisation that can’t run a website – its important public face – can’t run a country.
But hell and damnation, we are stuck with them for now.

In line with meritocracy, this masterpiece does not merit any comments.
Daphne, I’m sorry but it’s Msida creak.
“Publish and be damned”.

Can you dam Mrabat street? We could solve Malta’s water problems in one day.
John Dalli’s is in fact a “damming”report. Release of the report was a carefully timed attempt to ‘dam’ the surging tide of adverse reaction generated by the arrogant manner with which Muscat sought to push through the sale of Maltese citizenship.
Or rather, “caefully timed” in an attempt to distract the Nation from the on-going investigation about his “secretive” lightning visits to Bahamas when he was supposed to be attending a EU meeting.

Baxxter, but how do such quips come to you? You nearly suffocated me. Unless you have already been given a Pulitzer, make your name known and sooner rather than later, you will be eligible for one.
I’ve been watching the Volvo advert in a loop, hence the quip.
Well, I’ll be dammed.
Pity the dam is full of leaks.
Damn, dumb and dubious. 3D Labour style
I don’t believe anything that’s written by John Dalli. Ma nafdahx fil-h*r*.
A lot is being said by the labour media about the Dalli report on Mater Dei, and amongst other shortcomings they are mentioning a 30 m euro unwarranted expenditure by the previous administration in its running. Also the PM from Miami beach said that there will be some sort of action to establish who was responsible for this ‘hela’ of public fund.
Now my question to John Dalli is whether the report covers the whole five years of the previous administration or the latter part of the legislature after he was appointed EU Commissioner. He ran Mater Dei hospital for a good three years plus and was also responsible for its construction. Sant’s accusations during the construction phase and its running from day one are still vivid in everybody’s minds.
John Dalli needs to clarify these points. For sure, according to labour, Mater Dei hospital was a no no from the day of the laying of the first stone. This includes the time of Dalli’s responsibilities.
Mr. Dalli BA has completely forgotten the Skansa saga and how the Labour hate machine vehmently attacked him in those days and ‘dammed’ him.
The more I read about J. Dalli BA, the more I am convinced that he is holding the PM “hostage” with some very sensitive information.
TVAM this morning discussed Dalli’s Report with Godfrey Farrugia, Health Minister and Claudio Grech. If you missed it say “dammit”.
Grech got stuck into Dalli report for about ten minutes non-stop and Godfrey could not have enjoyed it more. His face and body language showed glee and total relief at hearing what he himself could not say.
Norma, the PL stooge, was so pissed off at the play that she lost her cool.
To add a further comment, if I may, when Dr. Gonzi gave his last interview before resigning his seat in Parliament, he had stated, without any hesitation that the PM will eventually be sorry for “promoting” Mr. John Dalli and Dr. Diva Debono during this legislature. One day, Dr. Gonzi will be proved to have been completely spot on.
Nothing to worry about, as long as they keep damming. Dams do burst one day or other and beavers do swim away. The first logs that floated away indicated that this was a case of mismanagement. Mismanagement certified by an accountant is tantamount to a lawyer certifying surgery. If memory serves me right Zeppi is qualified and doctored in management. How come he talks of the report in terms of accountancy. We now going round in loops rather than in U turns.
No wonder xhamster is way more popular than Maltastar.
Some cheek Dalli has. As we say in Maltese “ghaliex ma jmurx jinheba”.
He is trying to deviate attention from the Kessler article.

“Prioritajiet Iffukjati” is more like it !
Totally out of point but this morning Astrid Vella was “selling her wares” on the TVM morning show and she urged us, ic-cittadini, to protest against the abuse of the environment on Saturday.
Her Majesty is worried, she said. There are no recreational spaces for residents in Mistra, she said. The environment is under attack, she said. I’m sorry, dear lady, but you should have seen it coming. It is useless now to cry over this bucket of milk. It’s spilt and turned acidly sour and we still have to lap it up, all thanks to you.
The cheek of some people. I would run and hide if I were her. She did her damned best to bring Gonzi and Gonzipn down and she had Joseph Muscat and his Merry Men shoved down our throats. But now she wants us to go and protest with her.
No, dear Astrid. I will not be attending. Mine is a protest absence against you. This government does not care one wit whether you protest or otherwise. They have to rub backs and hand out iced permits and they certainly will not bow down to your bickering and whimpering. We are lumped with a government who could not care less about the environment because YOU (and others) have made damned sure that the only man who had the balls to do something about the environment – and who was also kicked out of office precisely because he tried to rein in the abusers and the cowboys – would be consigned to political history.
Astrid, if there is one protest you need to attend is the protest against your selfish, myopic and self-serving self. THAT is one protest I would gladly participate in. And when our coastlines will start being eaten up by land reclamation, when our only real environmental gem will be destroyed you only have yourself to thanks- and we will have you to blame.
Grow up, and for God’s sake, if you have the gall to go on national television, inform yourself well first and practice what you have to say because you suck at speaking in public.
[Daphne – Yes, I agree that all this is most trying. Mrs Vella gave an interview to The Malta Independent, published last Sunday, in which she was asked about her political allegiances and how she voted. She avoided the answer by saying that her father suffered under Labour in the 1970s so it should be clear to us what her political feelings are. No, it is not clear at all. I will never understand why certain people find it necessary to conceal the way they vote or to begin shouting about privacy. What is the problem with saying specifically how you vote? It’s normal for people to do so – in a true democracy. I certainly have no problem doing so, because I like to practise democratic normality. What I do know is that I remember seeing news footage of Mrs Vella enthusiastically kissing (on the cheek) the Leader of the Opposition, Muscat, outside parliament after he voted the way she wanted him to do. That indicates a rather disquieting familiarity and personal liking. I don’t run around kissing people even when they do things of which I approve, still less when they are politicians.]
I cannot agree more. I absolutely cannot agree more. What a hypocrite Ms. Vella is.
According to Alfred Sant, if I abstain from attending, I will be considered as having attended. I will sit comfortably at home, sip some tea, watch TV and in the comfort of my home, feel proud that I am counted as being there. So do count me as you please.
