  1. Francis Saliba M.D. says:

For all we know Dalli may already be in Nassau.

When the EU thought he was on its official business in Cyprus, he was actually in the Bahamas.

When our Prime Minister thought that Dalli was at his post in Malta he was actually on some private business in Greece.

The man has a tendency to roam and to be where his bosses do not know that he is.

  2. edgar says:

What an exemplary person JDalliBa is. Before embarking on a missionary trip to the Bahamas, he stops in Lourdes to cleanse himself in the holy springs and pray that the Virgin performs a miracle and finally brings him some work that will have some money attached to it.

He is nearing bankruptcy working only for charity, miskin.

  3. Julie says:

Please make that a one-way trip.

  4. Bullivant says:

“But back to cemeteries, consideration should also be given to the possibility of actually removing some of them and respectfully reburying the remains of those buried in them in a collective one. There are too many ex-British Services cemeteries, for example, on such a small island. Can’t we just have one, say the sprawling Ta’ Braxia cemetery, and then use for development what precious land is vacated by their dead? Of course what uniquely historical cemeteries we have need to remain untouched.”

This article “Where silence is not golden” is penned by Charles Flores in today’s Independent on Sunday

So his idea of land reclamation is to remove military cemeteries. What a crass, stupid, hurtful, offensive suggestion on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War. But what does one expect from a “mietna ghal barrani” MLP activist.

  5. notimpressed says:

What amazes me is how these people carry on with no shame at all — after all, Malta is a small – very small country – where practically everybody knows each other. I cannot understand how they still appear in public. They should hide somewhere.

  6. Clifford says:

Daphne, how dare you suggest economy class for our dear John Dalli?

    • gaetano pace says:

She intended the difference saved to be sent to some charitable cause. No big deal for the so benevolent Johnny.

  7. dudu says:

    Jeez, another qassata:

‘Whistleblower Arthur Bajada said that he personally informed Police Commissioner Peter Paul Zammit of certain irregularities. Zammit however, did not take any action.’

  8. Sv says:

What qualifies Mark Sammut as a doctor?

  9. dak says:

Dalli prayed to Our Lady for a miracle.

He asked Her to make him honest.
