   How embarrassing. Trying to defend the indefensible. By suggesting that the government is trying to make it more palatable to ‘the opposition’, he is basically saying f*ck EU concerns so long as they get it through.

   He hasn’t got a hope in hell of selling this money grabbing/favours for foreign friends scheme to anyone except the Eddie Priviteras of this world. Dear god. What have we done to deserve this?
