We’re right there at the end of 2013, and where are those 30 FDI projects?

Economy Minister Chris Cardona, big-talking fan of birds in cages (he’s got one in his office lobby), birds skimming down poles and birds twirling naked on laps, gave an interview when he was fresh into the cabinet game, saying that he already had “30 FDI projects” lined up for approval by “the end of 2013”.
Well, here we are – at the end of 2013 – and unless he’s planning some kind of Christmas spectacular, there hasn’t even been one such project approved let alone 30.

His 30 projects are ”poles” apart.
One of the poles was last seen here, obstructing the road to Golden Bay.

Who has the ‘pole’ position?
Perhaps Chris Cardona meant that they intended to sell 30 citizenships. The Government insists on calling the €650,000 price an investment, after all.

North and South Pole minister Chris Cardona.
Eat your heart out, Santa.
Polar bare.
The news about him being a fan of tits in cages travelled up to Scandinavia.
The talent Economy Minister Cardona is familiar with, and which he is lining up to import, is none other than Ukranian birds.
The PM is perceived as being pretty selective about fullfilling his vote -catching pre- electoral promises.
He has promptly fullfilled the wish-list of a handful of powerful developers and speculators to the detriment of the environment. No such luck though, for the several hundreds of small unimportant minnows waiting for the fullfillment of the pre-electoral promises related to the regularization of unsanctioned small internal alterations, some going back to several decades.

30 projects eh?
It was 30 million from passports.
Like 30 pieces of silver.
30 – the magic number.

36% decrease in exports, by Labour’s argument it’s 23%. That’s all right then.
Fourth month in a row, unemployment spreading across manufacturing like wildfire.
Well the idiots who tend to vote Labour are impressed by hearing that “30 companies are investing” but then don’t bother to follow it up.
Idiots who govern fooling the fools who vote for them. Pretty good relationship, isn’t it?
