Another fabulous opportunity for Joseph: nobody wants to host the Commonwealth Games 2022

Commonweath games

He and Corto Farrugia should step up to the plate, as they did with the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting when Mauritius pulled out because it doesn’t want to host Sri Lanka (human rights violations & c & c).

He’d better rush: the deadline is March.

Perhaps he won’t bother because the games are in 2022, but come on, won’t he still be in government then?

  1. Mr Meritocracy says:

“Money is the major factor in all bids – the Glasgow Games is estimated to cost over £500m to stage – and it is understood the global financial climate may be discouraging nations from bidding.”

He’ll surely have the money to do so if he gets the ‘elf miljun’ from the citizenship scheme that he’s been harping on for the last while.
