From the bastion of liberty that is the European Union, to…THIS.

Voted Labour because gay rights, did you? You actually thought Labour cared about gay rights, and it didn’t occur to you for one moment that all they wanted was your vote?

Nobody who cares about rights and liberties would seek to ally Malta to the world’s most monstrously powerful oppressor of people and violator of human rights.

I’d like to see at least one of those idiotic ‘I’m voting for Joseph because Joseph cares about gay rights’ bleaters raise his or her voice now against our prime minister’s drive to integrate us with Chairman Mao’s political descendants.

Look what they’re doing to this man. Does the Malta Gay Rights Movement have anything to say about that – or isn’t it their sphere of competence because he’s neither gay nor Maltese and so his rights at the hands of their beloved Joseph’s friends don’t count?

Il-vera arukaza ta’ nies stupidi u shortsighted.

The BBC reports:

Xu Zhiyong, a prominent human rights lawyer who campaigned against corruption, has gone on trial in China.

Mr Xu is charged with “gathering crowds to disrupt public order”. He is one of several activists from a transparency movement to be tried this week.

Rights groups have criticised President Xi Jinping – who pledged to fight corruption – over their trials.

They come as a report says many members of China’s elite have set up offshore companies in overseas tax havens.

If one is to criticize the government he is called negative and unpatriotic.

Considering how things are changing in our police force if one is to criticize the government he will soon be accused of “gathering crowds to disrupt public order”.
