Malta taghna lkoll update: It-Torca editor put on state payroll at Malta Enterprise

A few days ago, Aleks Farrugia announced that he was leaving his job at the General Workers Union, where he had for some years edited their Sunday newspaper, It-Torca (stable-mate to the daily L-Orizzont).
One immediately knew that this was because he had been given some Malta Taghna Lkoll appointment on the state payroll. Meanwhile, Sandro Mangion – who some weeks ago resigned as chief of staff to the PS for Sport – has replaced him as the new editor of It-Torca.
And Aleks Farrugia has indeed been put on the state payroll, as expected. I have just learned that he has been given the post of head of communications at Malta Enterprise, now a Mintoffian hot-bed headed by Mario Vella.

Silvio Parnis was looking at your website during the Public Accounts Committee meeting few minutes ago.
Tghid anke dak is-selfie taghna lkoll?
It is evident that all these ‘consultants’ and ‘heads’ coming from One TV or ‘off’ the billboards have no idea in their new work.
Hence the fiascos, ‘kummidji’, rushed passport scheme, tents in hospitals etc.
Can not our PM notice that he has surrounded himself by incompetent people to the detriment of Malta and to be made the laughing stock of Europe – and in the case of the passport scheme, the world?
