Marlene Mizzi: the MEP who doesn’t even know how many MEPs there are
Marlene Mizzi, working really, really hard in Brussels.

I earn what the other 950+ MEPs earn ….irrespective of their performance and/or attendance. NO, I am not asking for sympathy , and nor am I complaining – because I knew what I was in for – and I love the job and the hard work that comes with it. And yes, it is a well paid post.
950 MEPs? No, wait: 950 plus.
The Maltese MEPs of the Socialist Group are a truly Fabulous Four. One travels the world permanently, one is being investigated for corruption, one is a cross between a cabbage and a kohlrabi, and one doesn’t even know how many members there are of the very parliament in which she sits.
And she gets the number wrong not by two, not by 20, but by 200.
There are 766 MEPs, Mrs Mizzi, and not 950+. And after the next election, in June, there will be 751.

Why the surprise? Marlene simply doesn’t add up.
A former chairman of Sea Malta who can barely spell and has a fetish for exclamation marks.
No wonder Sea Malta sunk under her tenure. But boy, she knows how to ride the gravy train. Talk of the undeserving and tax money down the drain.
She meets a lot of people hanging around in the bar of the European Parliament during all odd hours of the day and must have assumed that these are all MEPs.

This is just the kind of photo that would land a well known politician a spot on ”Mock the Week”.
Grow up, Mrs Mizzi, and stop making a fool of yourself.
