  1. Toni Borg says:

Remember Konrad Mizzi and a bunch of PL louts shouting SHAME, SHAME ON YOU! before the election?

    Well, its now our turn!

SHAME, SHAME ON YOU JOSEPH! SHAME ON YOU!!!

    • just me says:

The difference is that their “shame on you” was completely undeserved while now It is more than deserved. I would say rather that “shame on you Joseph” is rather too mild considering the serious and probably irreversible harm he has done to our country.

  2. Harry Purdie says:

Hey little Joey. All these big, bad people are ganging up on you. Time to take your football and go home? Original objective anyway?

  3. TinaB says:

    Noel Celeste’s comment on timesofmalta.com:

“the joke that pn put malta in will back fire on them no mater what its the government of that country that decides what to do with citizenships not eu”

    http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/20140115/local/european-parliament-debate.502729

    I despair.

  4. ciccio says:

Jeez, not even Rupert Murdoch has this influence on international news headlines.

  5. giraffa says:

Watching the European Parliament debate the citizenship-for-cash scheme, confirmed the wise decision we took to join the EU, as this is the only safeguard we have against the Labour Party behaving like a Fascist party, and trying to ride roughshod over us.

The performance (for want of a better word) by the PL MPs was so weak, and would have served their leader better had they not spoken at all. On the other hand, Roberta Metsola and David Casa were excellent.

And could you have missed Claudette Baldacchino behaving like a typical Labour brat, trying to interrupt proceedings with an out of place ‘point of order’, while clearly chewing on her gum.

  6. Gullible's Travels says:

If Desmond Zammit Marmara’ writing in The Times of 15/01/2014 states that the international media were prompted to put the IIP kawlata under the spotlight, why should we not believe him?

  7. simca says:

omg. the entire (almost) EP will have to wake up and smell the coffee…once again

  8. Steve says:

It is like living in some despotic state where those who dare criticize the government are considered as enemies of the state. I wish to sleep for 50 months and wake up after March 2018.

  9. Joseph says:

I think they will forget this when the MEP elections are near, 2 MEP’s lobbying successfully to impress 89% of the votes is no mean feat!
