Some people can reconcile Gift of Life and +9 with support for the Chinese regime

For somebody so obsessed with abortion as the World’s Great Evil, Paul Vincenti has a remarkable admiration for the Chinese regime, which forces its women to have just the one child and abort the rest.

Paul Vincenti
Ignore the potential of China at your peril. If our Island is to progress financially, China would certainly be on my list. People need to get away from political prejudice and be a little more objective here. This is a good move.

Just after there were articles circulating that in at least one case, a woman was forced to terminate a 7-month pregnancy and, understandably, suffered severe mental illness afterwards, with no official willing to shoulder responsibility. Some nice friends you’ve got there, Mr Vincenti.

  5. La Redoute says:

People need to get away from political prejudice, do they? Vincenti is thinking of partisanship.

I don’t imagine he’s thinking of aborting babies at 8 months pregnancy or forcibly removing them from their families simply because their parents already had another child.

You just have to admire his logic. Hates abortion but loves the country where it is most prevalent because it is forced on women. Il-vera Laburist trid tkun biex tirraguna bhalu.

What he is saying is that China cannot today be ignored. Neither by the USA, nor by Europe or Malta. There’s big business over there and let’s not mix business with religions. They dont integrate with each other. Don’t you agree?

  12. David says:

So logically we should shun the USA and most western countries, as in all these countries abortion is permitted.

The key word here is ‘imposed’ rather than ‘permitted’. And that my friend, is the difference between China and the western world.

Unbelievable! I’ve lost all trace of respect for him and his views. Doesn’t he have a sense of intellectual balance?

It always amazes me how bigoted and fundamentalist minds tick. They invariably reach irrational conclusions outside their specialised area.

I am willing to pay him the ticket to China, on one condition though. That it is one way and he stays there given he finds China so exciting.
