These liberal and progressive pro-European leaders all seem to use the same imaginative tactics
In The Sunday Times today:
Police, protesters clash after Ukraine’s president offers foes posts
Police clashed with protesters who blockaded a building in central Kiev today and the fate of Ukraine’s government was up in the air after embattled President Viktor Yanukovich offered opposition leaders key posts.
One of the president’s main foes called his offer a “poisoned” attempt to kill off a protest movement in a country plunged into political unrest by Yanukovich’s U-turn away from the European Union and toward Russia.
At least the Ukrainian foes appear to have had the backbone to tell Yanukovich where to stuff his offers of posts, unlike the Maltese foes who rolled over and salivated at Muscat’s feet: “May I please lick your boots clean in return for a post and a meal ticket?”

At least we excel at something.
Arse-licking.
We’ve had centuries of practice after all.
You need a picture with that.

I’ve heard of games being thrown by Maltese players for the cost of half a packet of cigarettes. Maybe the thing about us being chicken thieves is true.

“Insiders at NHK say his appointment was an attempt by the government of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to bring the national broadcaster to heel, our correspondent reports. ”
Sound familiar?
Għal Joseph Muscat u sħabu, in-nies ta’ kalibru huma dawk li għandhom, u lesti jħallsu, l-eluf għall-iskema tiegħu (u ta’ H&P)
Jekk fhimtu sew, allura ammetta li hu mhux ta’ kalibru ghax ma ghandux minn fejn ihallas ghal passaport wiehed mill-iskema tieghu stess.
Bilfors li hekk ghax biex jasal jiehu l-allowance fuq karozza, hekk ta’ xejn b`xejn ghal xejn, irid ikun wasal fil qiegh tal-kexxun.
B`din ir-rata li sejjer biha ghad jigi jghid li ser jiehu allowance ghal kafe u t-te.
