An Azerbaijan government jet landed in Malta on Monday (it’s blue) and was at the airport’s Stand 7 (VIP).
So what are we looking at here – gas, a Maltese passport, or both?

A new talent has arrived
Joey’s One Stop Shop.
Perhaps the government of Azerbaijan wanted to thank in person the Speaker of the House, Anglu Farrugia, for reporting so positively about the free and fair elections in their country.
Most probably it is an Azeri delegation to explain where Azerbaijan is. I bet my last cent the majority of Maltese have no idea where it is on a map of the world or even if it exists at all.
Both. Malta taghna lkoll.
The Azeri dictator’s daughter was here. She was invited to the launch of a photography exhibition at San Anton Palace.
Rumour has it that a member of George Vella’ s secretariat travels to Baku regularly – to deliver lectures on protocol procedures, so the rumour goes. What a complicated web this is.
Not to forget the other official from the same secretariat who called migrants ‘trash’ ….. Prosit hej.
According to Malta plane spotters, plane registration is 4K-AI06.

Apparently operated by Azerbaijan Airlines.

No, they’re here to discuss the Eurovision song contest with Jason Micallef.
Both plus intelligence.
it is the daughter of the Azerbaijan President.
It could be a sign of trouble. Arzu and Leyla have both been mentioned in this secretive dealing.

Very, very, very informative article.
Then perhaps she was asked over for some expeditious lessons. We all know how ambitious to get very rich in the shortest time, certain people are.
So after the son of Kim Il Sung and the daughter of Muammar Gaddafi, we now have the daughter of the Azerbaijan President. Now what talent has this woman got.
It’s a Gulf Stream 5, reg 4k-ai06, which landed in Malta using the excuse that it needed refuelling. It was scheduled to spend just an hour at Malta airport for that purpose, but the fuel tanks were actually full already and that plane ended up staying a full 24 hours here (enough to take an oath of allegiance and collect a passport) and left the following morning.
Last time Labour was in government it invited Kim Il Sung, Gaddafi, and other assorted dictators to share its bed.
Fast forward to the present, and Labour is doing a Basic Instinct performance at Azerbaijani and Chinese dictatorships.
Azerbaijan: the country of Ecstatic Happiness under the caring watch of Emperor Aliyev and his Court.
We sank to the bottom and instead of popping up, we start digging deeper.
Mr Speaker will be in agreement with you on this.
So after the Azerbaijan bribing stories, doesn’t Mr Speaker get to be investigated? In Malta, one scandal follows another suit and nothing ever happens. Very scary…
In order to defuse the paranoia doing the rounds … this plane did bring over the Azeri’s President daughter Leyla Aliyeva. She was invited to open a photography exhibition in the Palace together with world famous National Geographic photographer Reza

I hate to burst people’s bubble and conspiracy theories but it was a cultural event attended to by sometimes unsavoury characters.
[Daphne – 1. What was the photography exhibition? 2. Why was it held at the palace which is the official residence of Malta’s head of state? 3. Why was it not publicised? 4. Why was the daughter of the Azeri dictator invited to open it? 5. Reza is Iranian, not Azeri. And he is a photographer. 5. Why were “unsavoury characters” guests at the official residence of the Maltese head of state?]
Did they come to Malta to hand over some award to their loyal Mr Speaker?
