I am sure you will be getting other comments similar to mine. What the hell was he talking about in May 2012? How did Malta come into his presentation?
In my humble opinion, this simply shows that Henley and Partners were already in cahoots with the Malta Labour Party who were still in Opposition. Clearer than this it cannot be. And yet they did all this behind the electorate’s back.
If this is not corruption, then what is it? Any doubts who financed the Malta Labour Party election campaign?

Henley is also advising several other countries that want to adopt citizenship by investment, Major says. Among them: Malta and Croatia.
Good, now we have proof, let’s cut the crap and have some straight talk from these people shall we?
What’d I’d personally like to know is who suggested or agreed Labour shouldn’t ever mention anything prior to the election.
This thing renders anything in that legal notice illicit.
The proof has been sitting there for two whole years exactly, less a day.
So now we are hearing this straight from Henley & Something’s mouth. Great, Malta has been involved since 2012.
No wonder the Labour Party promised heaven on earth in their electoral campaign. Now we all know where they were going to get the money from to keep up with their ‘promises’ without attracting any investment to keep our country going.
The Labour Party has NO right to sell our citizenship as Malta does not belong to them alone and it was not included in their electoral programme.
Only a referendum will give them the right to do so. The PN has to act on this more than they have been trying to do.
Agreed, this minor detail vitiates any talk of transparency.
Totally agree. The proof is now on record.
The PN HAS to act on this.
If they were from South Africa, they weren’t here to discuss citizenship. They were here to pick up a passport.
Henley and Partners has an office in South Africa. Presumably, that’s the office that handles applications from South Africans.

this is the name that you will find at “Identity Malta”‘s key staff list, processing Citizenship application marketed and procured by Henley and Partners
04:50, 23:45 Malta? There was an IIP scheme in 2012 but there was no citizenship sale, only residents who bought property and invested here were granted a travelling visa to the EU, I believe.
Mr Major was calling it an IIP programme.
Do you recall Charles Mangion whining that the property price limit should be lowered? Obviously he had an interest as a notary in this whole affair.
This involvement of Henley & Partners in negotiations with Malta on what eventually turned out to be Joseph Muscat’s IIP, when Joseph Muscat was the Leader of the Opposition, needs to be recorded in the official records of our parliament, for future reference.
Any government contacts with Henley & Partners on other matters at that time should also be recorded.
