…and I need him as a crucial witness in the cases the Police (acting on the complaint of Julia Farrugia) vs Daphne Caruana Galizia and Julia Farrugia (editor of Saviour Balzan’s newspaper Illum) vs Daphne Caruana Galizia, to say that yes, Ms Farrugia’s father Karmenu k/a Il-Boton or Il-Botom was indeed the prospective new EU Commissioner’s trusted driver-cum-aide for ages during the Golden Years when he was a Labour minister and yes, there were some little problems with the gun that killed Raymond Caruana at the PN club in Gudja being in his possession at some point.
It’s bad enough that the witness I really need, Gianni Psaila k/a Il-Pupa, a fellow thug (reformed and turned state evidence) and former associate of the Illum editor’s father, died in mysterious circumstances shortly after testifying to all this during a preliminary inquiry.
