At the National Pool (and probably lots of other places too), George Abela is still the president

Isn’t there some sort of centralised procedure whereby the outgoing president’s portrait is taken down at all national offices and stage agencies, and replaced immediately with a portrait of the new president?
Or am I thinking of some other country?
I detect a problem here: President Merilweez Kulajru Romanov of the House of Saint George Preca’s portrait hasn’t been taken yet and there are no plans for one to be taken any time soon because they’ve forgotten all about the need to do it.
But meanwhile, Abela’s portrait should be taken down everywhere and the hooks left empty until such a time as Merilweez Who Can’t Stand Ceremony can be fagged to get hers done.

What shall the new photo be? Marie Louise in a leotard?
Pompeo Posar is dead. I think those hooks will be left empty.
Pretty sure she’ll take one (I mean photo here) first thing tomorrow morning.
Maybe we will have one of the president saying the rosary in bed with her husband Edgar.
With this inscription underneath:
‘Quando non posso piu ricorro al buon Gesu.’
Likely a hang over.
You have probably got them all in a panic. My guess is by tomorrow her photo will be taken, and a memo will be issued over the weekend.
Even in the obstetric wards at Mater Dei Hospital.
The problem is not that the photo needs changing but also the frame, a much bigger frame.
I believe I saw this at the Passport Office as well
Probably posing like Qalb ta’ Gesu.
