Wiki Muscat

Yesterday I was alerted to the fact that some reactionary agent had made minor editing changes to the Prime Minister of Malta’s Wikipedia page in an attempt at working against the national interest.

Twenty-four hours later, these reactionary edits are there still.

Sack the coconut. He’s too busy Blackberry-chatting with Miriam of Malta Today and tempting her with cookies.

I don’t mind Joseph Muscat posing under the Malta Coat of Arms, but putting his picture above the name of my great grand father is an insult that I do not accept. And whoever put that word beginning with an L and finishing with an A and having IB in between deserves the Gieh whatever they call it.

You are perfectly right, Edgar; your distant relative and his successors were an asset for Malta’s political class.

Your late father who occupied the post of secretary to George Borg Olivier, and your dear mother (God bless her) were my neighbours for a number of years; they were an epitome of elegance and dignity.

Pacenzja, Edgar, we are gradually sinking to the bottom of a cesspit.

I just clicked on the link above.

It refers to ”Stupid” Joseph Muscat and the domain is opm@gov.mt

Some ‘elve’ must be running loose in the cables.

  9. H.P. Baxxter says:

And they OBVIOUSLY got the style wrong. The Prime Minister of Malta is not styled “The Honourable”. That’s for MPs by MPs, when the House is in session.

We should have asked for an instruction manual when we chose independence.

Watch out, soon they will be calling this cyber bullying and will be legislating against it. Just have a look at what happened in Singapore. They can learn a great deal from their Chinese friends about how to control the internet.

I don’t know how to put this without having Peter Paul’s SWAT bursting in and hauling me off to prison, but surely the, er, composition of that photograph is too, er, heavy on the perspective. That is to say, perhaps a Merkel jacket?

  14. Aunt Hetty says:

Whoever messed around with that entry had plenty of time to fiddle around with it more then once. Most definitely a disgruntled elve.
