I’m sorry, but I haven’t forgotten five years of sucking up to his guests, of inane Xarabank stunts on a discussion programme, and of stupidification of Malta with his former colleague Joe Azzopardi.
You make me smile. I don’t know what you want! I’ve always liked Norman Vella’s policy because he never worried about speaking his mind whether it was the government or opposition. He always said it as it is.
He always said it as he thought it was, which is to treat complete fruitcakes as if they were normal, decent people. That’s the scourge of Malta, and he only added to it.
I still remember the interview with Franco Debono where he obligingly accepted a copy of the silly man’s sillier haiku book, and where he didn’t even flinch when other went on for fifteen minutes about what a calm, intelligent, and supremely literate man he is, and proceeded to get all matey with him.
A few weeks after that he wasted some more of the taxpayer’s money and the nation’s thinking space by featuring those two uber-hamallu “comedians” in his show.
So thanks, but no thanks.
Politics isn’t Xarabank. It isn’t fun, or funny. It’s serious business.
If TVHemm is the best we can produce, then god help us all.
They are all creative and the Alfred Sant one is spot on, he doesn’t deserve votes after the scaremongering and all that ‘Svizzera fil-Mediterran’ rubbish. Voting for him would be wasting your vote.
But I think the last one is a little stupid. How does he know that a random guy from some Labour advertisement is going to vote for him? Of course he isn’t and I can’t imagine the look on that poor chap’s face when he finds out.
And it is also a little narcissistic.
“Fl-24 ta’ Mejju ivvotta lill-kanditati kollha tal-PN”
Really Norman? I expected this from some idiot Labour MEP candidate or that insane brat Norman Lowell who thinks that Imperium Europa is a real political party.
Not all of the candidates I’m going to vote for are going to be from PN and I certainly know that Norman Vella won’t be one of them. I’m sorry but he just doesn’t appeal to me and not because of that last picture.
And I agree with H.P. Baxxter above on the stupidification of Malta part.
Daphne, I suggest you pin a post similar to this, asking readers to provide suggestions for banners similar to the above. Believe me, the possibilities of messages are endless.

Manuel Mallia: Issa nista’ nohrog il-500,000 euro cash minn taht is-saqqu.
Anton Refalo: Issa nista’ ncempel biex nregga’ lura l-vapuri tal-Gozo Channel halli nkun nista’ niehu l-pranzu nofs siegha qabel.
Justyne Caruana: Issa nista’ nuza l-helicopter biex naqsam lejn Malta u b’hekk inkun nista’ norqod siegha iktar.
Lino Farrugia Sacco: Issa nista’ nahrab mill-impeachment u nirtira bil-kwiet.
Joseph Muscat: Issa nista nitnejjek b’kullhadd.
Glad to see a budding politician with a sense of humour. Would make great billboards for the PN campaign.
ISSA qam Norman Vella?

What unfair comments on Norman Vella. He had the guts to ask straightforward questions on the TVHemm programme.
