Piccolo Mondo di Donna Merilweez: just in case you want to join the mid-20th-century Sicilian mountain village circus

I feel so sad for all those pretentious people who voted Labour because it’s ‘cool’ and so contemporary. Some mountain village in the Sicilian hinterland circa 1950 is more like it.
Ejjew, Qriemi, ha hiffesteggjaw il-Merilweez!
And don’t forget that the ‘sindku’ who signed this off is that ‘I’m so perky’ hamalla, Nuxellina, whose abortive career as a Sicilian show-girl ended with her teaching Italian at St Albert the Great College. She’s the one who rang the Police Commissioner so that she could queue-barge at the ferry in Gozo.

Geez woman is there ANYTHING that makes you happy??? you criticise EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Why don’t you just let everyone be and take care of yourself huh?? YOU certainly have issues which YOU fail to acknowledge/admit in order to get the help you need. Lashing out at the world and everyone in it all the time. Cool down and get a life. Live and let Live!!
The irony.
Only the ones who are either terribly ignorant or are gaining from the ongoings would opt to look cool and say “live & let live”
Daphne, I would say that Nuxellina should get the same flak as Erin Tanti and Vince Taliana for her inappropriateness to teach. She promoted herself as an escort!
You are absolutely right. I cannot understand how an educator can have this level of hamallagni.

In a recent interview the new president said that she does not like ceremonies.
Well, with a six-hour inauguration ceremony and all the other things I have been reading about, I say what if she was that kind of person who enjoys ceremonies – would we have a full week of them?
4th April – roll on another national holiday.
If one should meet her now, in view of her dislike of ceremonials should one address her as “Eccellenza” or Merilweez?
Oh this explains the low fly pasts performed over Sliema and Valletta by the AFM’s King Air aircraft and Alouette – bozza tal plastik – helicopters. I wondered what the fuss was all about.
On a different topic, did the Prime Minister actually use the words ‘iz zikk’ during a press conference reported by Net News two days ago? Baxx.
Yes he did. I think he was speaking on Super One’s TX.
