Remember when Joe Mizzi had found oil at Il-Madonna taz-Zejt? (This is not a spoof.)

The Madonna taz Zejt well in Gozo drilled by ENI SpA proved without doubt that the basin productive in Sicily Joe Mizzi speaks about in this video, does NOT extend to Malta.
Thanks to Joe Mizzi’s stupidity, Malta squandered 30 million euro to pay ENI for the Gozo well he commissioned. All that money in order to prove something that was already known (by the Italians) before the well was drilled.
ENI had fooled Joe Mizzi and he fell for it. The bottom line was that Malta gave the Italians 30 million euro to drill one of the deepest wells in the Mediterranean and all for nothing.
How many more millions do we have to pay thanks to this man’s blunders, presumption and ignorance? No wonder oil companies are delighted to meet Joe Mizzi (he claims to have had many meetings with oil companies) for there are rich pickings for them when he is in charge.
His inside man had failed him, miskin.

Ninu was great !
Ngħid jien li miniex espert, imma sens komun għandi, għaliex ma bediex iħaffer hemm mill-ewwel, la kien daqstant ċert li hemm iż-żejt?
The harrowing Maltese situation is not even worth any comment. Come on, here we have a semi-illiterate man lecturing us on energy. His predecessor was Ninu Zammit who is just as embarrassing. These are the Maltese standards.
Jaqlaghlek fwiedek tisimghu jitkellem. U meta tghasar ma johrog xejn.
People get the government they deserve – so true, couldn’t be any truer.
Had it been any other country (obviously apart from third world countries) this imbecile wouldn’t even dream of holding senior-level public office, let alone a cabinet minister or God forbid a European Commissioner.
But anyway, look at what’s making headlines on the TVM website:

Guess if the so-called editor thinks this is what news is, no wonder the PL is in power.
[Daphne – Well, it’s the other way round. The so-called editor got the job because the PL is in power.]
indeed, but as a result of what the Maltese voters saw fit last March. oh the joy!!
Don’t think this guy’s elevator goes all the way to the top.
I remember him saying that within six months of Labour being in government he will find that oil.
He speaks like a balloon full of air which does not explode in your face in surprise. But the minute he finishes speaking it is already deflated
When was this aired?
L-Agip tal-presepju.
Mr Mizzi quoted press reports. Are these reports true or not?
From 5:21 to 5:44 Mizzi says, “Here I have the documents”. When he was “responsabbli”, were these documents publicly available to anyone or did he ‘acquire them’?
The bus service in Sliema is bad with tourists having to wait for more than an hour to alight one during the rush hours. Mizzi, this tansport service isn’t better as promised but worse.
Oops. I meant board not alight.
This video is really good and it show what a poor/imbecile (now transport) minister we have….
When he speaks in Maltese, he sounds like a savage spoiling for a fight.
When he speaks in English, he sounds like he has a speech impediment.
Great ministerial material.
