The Law Commissioner is flying his crazy kites again

Franco Debono

The Law Commissioner, yet another not-fit-for-purpose appointee of this government, has taken to flying his attention-seeking kites again.

In the last general election, he voted Labour and was feted and carried shoulder high by Laburisti in his home village when the result was out.

Now ‘friends of Franco Debono’ (he hasn’t any, but let him think he does) have supposedly set up a Facebook page encouraging him to form a Partit Popolari and stand for the European Parliament elections on that ticket.

A Law Commissioner, contesting a parliamentary election – now we really have seen it all.

What can I say? Perhaps he thinks there’s a gap in the market for a Crazy Party, failing to have noticed that the Labour Party mops up that vote every time.

Something tells me this is Muscat’s idea. It will be a repeat performance. An opportunity to rake trouble for the PN. The PN leadership should not underestimate Muscat’s deviousness.

The friends of Franco Debono seem very well informed about his doings.

There is already a Partit Popolari.

It’s obviously a spoof, which is why Franco Debono should fit in perfectly.

I really wish and hope that he does run for office. That is the only way for him to come to terms with the painful reality that he is now truly irrelevant and enjoys no support at all. Otherwise he is going to continue being delusional.

This mad guy has reached rock bottom and I can bet that if he runs for the MEP elections he wont get more than a couple of hundred votes.
