A statement released by the leader of the Anti Cyber Harassment Alliance in the wake of the Cyrus Engerer judgement, this morning
It’s head-in-the-sand time, I see.
Who is he kidding? He hasn’t spoken to the mother of his three children since she left him around 14 years ago, except briefly to inform her three years ago that he was going to bring a bill before the House for divorce.
He cheated on the mother of his step-daughter less than a year into their marriage and she packed up and moved out, and there is no contact between them either.
The woman with whom he cheated is childless. So is the woman, Lara Boffa, his personal assistant at the Science Council, with whom he is now involved.
His own mother must be sorely tried.
And who is ‘all the family’? I suppose he must mean his family of origin (parents and siblings). I don’t suppose that his children will be spending Mothers’ Day with him rather than with their mother. But he seeks to create the opposite impression.
Now will he please tell us what, as leader of the Anti Cyber Harassment Alliance, he thinks about the Cyrus Engerer judgement?

“Ghada Jum l-Omm. Pastizzi ghand is-Serkin tar-Rabat. Fil-5.00am.”
May I ask JPO: which family would that be?
At least we know that he hasn’t choked in his own vomit.
Will JPO be posting a family photo on Facebook after his lunch tomorrow?
We will be regaled with images of what’s on his plate first.
Oh, look, Mr. Schulz is in Malta.

“A rule-based approach to migration, he said, was needed to avoid driving people into the hands of criminal people.”
Perhaps The Times journalists should ask him how he feels to share the same podium with a convicted criminal.

All this smoke about Engerer. For what is he but a puff of smoke? On with it now. Blow, shoo, off you go, join the air you breathe, Cyrus, politics is for grown ups… like Joseph and Daphne, and Doktor Alfred Sant.
And Kevin and Sharon.
I think it’s time for you to join the Engerer Army of Spoilt Brats, Baxxter. You can play deputy and keep an eye on his back side.
Could you teach me, Kevin? Last time Farage stopped walking, your nose went through his appendix.
Careful Baxxter, if you piss Farage off, he could ask his Irish referendum mates to do the IRA.
Farage is a fruitcake, and I’d tell him to his face.
What happened to his dad’s case?
I meant Cyrus’s.
He’s asked to plead his case before the Ugandan Tribunal for the Civil Protection of Tossers, which by treaty was given supremacy over our Constitution.

Maybe he’s already cheating on Lara Boffa with someone who does have children.
When the PM says that Engerer was the victim of political persecution he means that the Attorney General, and the Court of Appeal judge were politically motivated and hence their decision.
The next step would now be to remove the AG and impeach the judge – in doing so, he would be following in Mintoff’s footsteps when he shut down the Constitutional Court to suit his despotic needs.
Instead of asking Labour to sack Engerer, the Nationalist Party should be hounding Muscat and kicking up a fuss because the PM is, clearly, saying that the Court’s decision was politically motivated, and that the Attorney General and Judge Michael Mallia are political stooges.
As for the media, the most pertinent question it should be asking is: what does Cyrus Engerer know about Joseph Muscat? Because the PM’s shocking behaviour about the Engerer case (and I use the surname only because he has also dragged in his parents) boils down to two possible scenarios. This is either that Malta is now ruled by a despot – in which case the democracy we now take for granted is, once again, at stake. Or Cyrus Engerer has the PM in a tight corner – in which case we are in a huger mess than we might think.
“As they say in marketing, when you are fed-up of repeating something, people are only beginning to pay attention.”

Can someone tell Simon Busuttil that politicians DO marketing and not TEACH it? It’s like a magician who four years before his big show starts giving us access to what’s behind his tricks.
If I were a journalist, I would chase Gabi Calleja and Kenneth Zammit Tabona and the US ambassador for their reaction on this particular homophobic crime and whether they are endorsing it through their silence.
Gabi Calleja doesn’t think it was a homophobic crime – I can tell you this much.
She was vehemently arguing to this effect on Facebook this morning.
