You vote for change again and again and again, and more than 30 years later, you wake up and find that the secretary-general of the Malta Labour Party, when it was led by Dom Mintoff and then that crank Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici, is now head of state.
If I live long enough, I may yet wake up to find that ex-MLP secretary-general Jason Micallef has been anointed queen.

We try to give President Coleiro Preca a chance but she disappoints us. The latest one is the endorsement of Charlon Gouder.
That’s what you deserve when you give somebody you know is a failure another chance.
Incidentally, Malta had given these lot a second chance already in 1996-1998.
The more Labour changes, the more things remain the same – Evarist Bartolo.

It`s more than likely to happen in this weird country.
Ghalmenu kellha daqsxejn ta’ figura dak iz-zmien, hey, anke perhaps sexy.
Imma llum she is a freaking old fart.
Screw MLCP and the party she represents/ed.
That 1980s mullet hair-style make her look like a ” pulena hamala mil-prim.”
Jason and his friends are more likely to become Knights of the Garter.
Wakey wakey, what with that Eur50,000 show on Palace Square he’s already been crowned queen of the pansies.
