Come to think of it, there are no photographs of Jason Micallef and Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando partying together, are there?

And here we get closer to identifying at least one source of the bitter resentment and enmity Jason Micallef feels towards Joseph Muscat.
Three equally nasty pieces of work, letting rip at each other – yuk.

The one word they should have learned to spell correctly is ‘taghna’, but alas…

In the space of a business breakfast he committed employers to increased NI, extended maternity leave to fourteen weeks, putting the onus on the taxpayer and came up with a novel idea to spread abuse; subsidising companies to keep employees on the minimum wage.
What is certain is that any strategy to take production to higher levels isn’t the prerogative.
Obsessed with the unskilled, all he talks is cleaners and petrol pump attendants, and that they should take up whatever is offered. Maybe all he wants is create the right conditions for those who consider this place a sweat shop with all the advantages of a member state of the EU.
And Malta Today keeps reporting ‘government to pay 14 weeks maternity leave’.
So, which is it?
And then we are going to trust our AFM with security in Marsaxlokk when we have the LNG tanker moored there.
“A ship whose crew were slapped with an arrest warrant slipped out of Maltese waters unchallenged because no patrol boats were available to intercept it.”

Joseph Muscat expects nothing less than total blind faith. It seems that many are starting to feel that they have been had.
I think the fissure that began with the lies surrounding Nair and the IIP issue deepened and widened when Mrs Caruana Galizia was so very right on the tragic issue of Lisa Marie Zahra’s end that should not have been a political issue, but for some reasons turned out to have a political angle nonetheless.
Daphne’s unswerving correctness of perspective could not have been called anything other than that, and this will have served as a reason to those being brainwashed otherwise, to challenge their existing beliefs and starting points. A wedge come into existence and subconsciously placed into any log that now needs splitting.
Once doubt instills itself. One is unable to continue to accept what is dished out at face value. Once that starts to happen, the starting points change: The elements then treated with logic, to which logic is applied as a secondary step, will be different.
Logic can always be perfect, but it depends what information is taken into consideration for treatment by logic.
Arguments happen mainly because of gaps in information at the starting points. Both sides to an argument may have equal powers of logic and argument to apply, but it is the side that holds better and more complete information at the starting point, enunciated with precise and clear vocabulary, that will end up in a stronger final position, after the application of logic.
In those instances where ambiguous language is used to create overlaps, and where precision is avoided, the information gaps are created with intention, and not at all treated. They are there to distort reality. With intention.
When one starts to listen to the other perspective that proves consistently sounder, where information gaps are questioned and discussed, where emotion is not a priority, there is a quest for a genuine understanding of all the information that makes up the starting points before the application of logic.
This is the result of an enquiring mind, and an enquiring sector of the population.
Where the foundations for peace of mind are solid, one is not afraid of putting or receiving questions that only serve to elucidate, clarify and give more precision to detail.
It is only those who put illusions and mirages before the electorate, who speak in terms of “poetry,” “provocation” and who desperately rely on a blind unquestioning “movement” that are afraid of release of correct information, being questioned, and of transparency.
The distortion of fact, the overlap of ambiguities, the lack of solid foundations, the chameleon tendencies would not survive the barrage of real, intelligent, investigative journalism where any person worth his salt would deign to reply and explain: Where truth is a value.
All Joseph Muscat’s efforts to clamp the media are continuously and successfully unravelled by one person’s persistence with correct perspectives, ethics, values and logic correctly applied.
No distortion of fact. The basics. An understanding and zero tolerance of the classic nitty-gritty.
So sorely missing from today’s joke of a Labour government.
Thank you, Daphne.

The expression “nitty-gritty” comes from the transport of slaves and other live merchandise in vessels. There were no sanitary considerations in place. The build-up collected at the base of the vessel where this merchandise was placed.
When the merchandise was delivered, what was left was the nitty-gritty.
————–
With Labour, the nitty-gritty is thrown from above and people are expected to stand beneath accepting it as manna from heaven, expressing their thanks when hit with it. Labour relies on zero understanding of this sort and rides on that wave of opportunism that the base support permits it to have. Dealing in classic nitty-gritty is the rule of the day for Labour.
As with the slops of yesteryear, the woman was expected to be on the receiving inner side of the street when these were thrown, and the male on the outerside – away from the slops.
The situation is not so different with this government. Those who are “in” are spared the slops – in fact they get selected to do the throwing (the dirty work), and those who are not are placed in the inner line of direct target.
Imma Malta mhux taghna lkoll ?
