James Piscopo and Alan Piscopo are NOT brothers
A few people have suggested that James Piscopo, chairman and CEO of Transport Malta, and Alan Piscopo, a shareholder in Aiken Services Ltd which supplied/s billboards to the Labour Party, are brothers.
I emailed James Piscopo to ask him this, after he couldn’t take the phone and asked me to do so.
I am told that you and Alan Piscopo are related by family. Is this correct, and if so, what is the nature of your relationship?
If there are any further questions, would you prefer me to phone or email?
Thank you and regards,
Daphne Caruana Galizia
He replied immediately:
Ms Caruana Galizia,
Thank you for your email and my apologies for not replying.
As far as I know we are not related, certainly not closely related.
Please feel free to send any questions by email.
I have since emailed to ask whether Transport Malta plans to take action on the billboards which contravene Legal Notice 368 of 2004, but do not have a reply so far.

Every Labour Party Club in Malta had a new sign before the election. Who paid for them?
Or was it a sign from God
I confirm that there is no relationship between them. I have known Alan for a long time.
That’s good to know.
Now someone should inform Joseph Muscat and Cyrus Engerer that this proves that coincidences DO exist after all.
