Oh look, Manuel Cuschieri hasn’t disappeared – he has a titchy iced bun

I missed this at the time (February): Manuel Cuschieri, for so many years the chief rabble-rouser and spite-monger on the Labour Party’s radio station, has been appointed to the Cooperatives Board instead of former Labour MP Rita Law.
One great brain replaces another.
I wonder what the duties of members of the Cooperatives Board involve.

In the Mintoffian mindset it would be a precursor to deciding who is allowed to operate and on what basis pressure is to be applied on normal market operators by other pieces in the Labour puzzle.
It would also be involved in tender negotiation to decide that.
Emanuel Cuschieri is regularly seen in Rabat, in the vicinity of the San Duminku Church.
He is not working for Radju Marija is he?
The Cooperatives Board regulates, registers and monitors coops. It’s also supposed to encourage workers set up coops and help them become more efficient.
‘The Cooperatives Board regulates, registers and monitors coops.’
If you mean coops as in pens (no not pen drives) where one keep hens and such like bird brains then that’s appropriate and I would deem this to be a definite case of meritocracy.
Dalwaqt igibu lll Dennis Sammut lura.
Denis Sammut would not accept going back to BOV with John Cassar White as Chairman as this would mean “tables turned” from pre-May 1987 when Sammut was the tail that wagged the dog regarding chairman John Buttigieg.
But nothing surprises me anymore these days..
[Daphne – Denis Sammut has done extraordinarily well for himself, you’d be surprised to discover. Nobody meeting him now, with his airs and graces, would ever believe he has a history as a thug and as somebody who used a state bank as a personal piggy-bank for himself and his friends.]
Certainly wonders never cease.
My biggest wonder, however is how someone like Lou Bondi has become an adviser of sorts to Joseph Muscat’s government.
Is there some fundamental principle that Lou upholds and which we lesser mortals fail to understand, that he could care to share with us?
Or will he come back with a sob story that he was forced into it, should the PN eventually start re-gaining lost ground in some near or distant future?
