The bird-shooters and trappers who were planning to vote for Cyrus Engerer have now endorsed Joseph Cuschieri. They have really great taste.

All FKNK can do is endorse to the weakest link. The more time passes by, the weaker their position becomes.
After all, the prominent MEP election candidates will not want to identify themselves with FKNK, as this will only weaken their chances of success.
It is also very evident that Joseph Cuschieri is getting very desperate.
His brother and his sister called him a laghqi.
Bird hunters and tasteful would be an oxymoron.
A case of ‘birds of a feather’ (no pun intended).
The famous expression, uttered by Alfred Sant in the pre-run of the 1996 general election, comes to mind. They are ready to sign a deal with the devil himself, as long as this brings in the votes.
Mr. Cuschieri tries to influence the electorate by promising a new foundation funded by half of his salary as an MEP to help the poor, and then he goes to bed with amoral individuals who have no respect for the environment or for anything that flies! Pathetic.
OK. He is desperate to get elected. Joseph Muscat did not offer him an iced bun.
FKNK may – rightly or wrongly – be accused of indiscriminate slaughter of birds.
They may not, however, be accused of misanthropy – given that they are backing an EP candidate who has promised to donate half his (prospective but not yet acquired) salary to charity for the next five years.
Whether the whole shenanigan is a back-scratching exercise or not we do not know at the present. That will emerge sooner rather than later.
Incidentally the 186,000 Euros promised by Cuschieri in his (mock-heroic) pledge could very easily be forked out by FKNK members themselves.
How?
The yearly outlay would be in the region of 37,000 Euros. If one assumes FKNK membership to be at least 3,700 souls, that would mean a measly 10 Euros per person per year.
May I suggest to FKNK that they ask Cuschieri to forego his donation – if, that is, his salary should ever materialize – and to distribute the proposed bounty out of their own pockets.
FKNK has 10,000 fully paid membership holders.
Li qed jibzghu mir-referendum u jridu johonqu l-vuci tal-poplu kontra taghhom…… bezziegha.
I do wonder what Joe Cuschieri will come up with next !
Anything to get elected I suppose………
Tghid Sai Mizzi hi suldat ta’ l-azzar bizzejjed biex tigi taqdi dmira bhala cittadina Maltija u tivvota ? Fl-istess hin tiehu l-opportunita’ taghtina rendikont tax-xoghol li wetqet.
With Labour, it all boils down to numbers and promises, back pats and underhand deals.
Who knows what pact Joseph Cuschieri made?
Kull ilma jaqta’ l-ghatx.
I just wonder when the referendum will be held. Would have made financial sense to hold the inevitable referendum in tandem with the MEP elections.
L-FKNK rabtet ruhha ma’ telliefa bhal ma ser tkun hi dalwaqt. L-ewwel rabtet qalbha u l-membri taghha ma persuna kkundannata mill-qorti u issa rabtu ruhhom u lill-membri taghhom ma’ kandidat fallut li mhux fuq il-good books tal-PM wara dak li ghamel ghalih, li cedielu postu fil-parlament.
