Sent in by Maidan:

When the PM says that Engerer was the victim of political persecution he means that the Attorney General, and the Court of Appeal judge were politically motivated and hence their decision.

The next step would now be to remove the AG and impeach the judge – in doing so, he would be following in Mintoff’s footsteps when he shut down the Constitutional Court to suit his despotic needs.

Instead of asking Labour to sack Engerer, the Nationalist Party should be hounding Muscat and kicking up a fuss because the PM is, clearly, saying that the Court’s decision was politically motivated, and that the Attorney General and Judge Michael Mallia are political stooges.

As for the media, the most pertinent question it should be asking is: what does Cyrus Engerer know about Joseph Muscat? Because the PM’s shocking behaviour about the Engerer case (and I use the surname only because he has also dragged in his parents) boils down to two possible scenarios. This is either that Malta is now ruled by a despot – in which case the democracy we now take for granted is, once again, at stake. Or Cyrus Engerer has the PM in a tight corner – in which case we are in a huger mess than we might think.

I believe Cyrus saw nude pictures of Joseph Muscat and may have kept some copies.

You know the kind of baby pictures with a bare bottom that he may have failed to insert in Joseph’s biography book.

I think your question answers itself, Maidan, if you just zoom out to get the bigger picture.

Many people seem to have Joseph Muscat by the balls: Jason Micallef, Cyrus Engerer, Manuel Mallia.

There is a common link of sorts here. Find it, and the truth emerges.

The link is in the air.

It will certainly crystallise much faster than that between Mintoff and Lorry Sant.

We are now in the twentyfirst century and it will be sooner rather than later.

For the first two it is somewhat easy – but Mallia I cannot make out.

However, do be aware of the fact that there were rumours that Muscat was thinking of appointing Mallia as President. I bet he chose Marilwijs Kulajru instead because he’s afraid that a drop in his popularity might have encouraged her to made another bid for the top post.

China , Azerbajan, John Dalli , the hunters’ lobby , Henley and Partners , sale of passport beneficiaries …… The murky list goes on . In just one year Muscat has managed to clock up an impressive list of shady , morally corrupt soul selling with the devil and his brother .
