      At Zejtun, it was the other way round: is-suldati tal-azzar dragged us away from the polling booths.

    Voteman is the personification of ‘il-Qahbu’ suldat tal-azzar during Labour’s golden years.

    During the 1987 general election he was going round Zejtun in search of Labour supporters who were not going to vote and escorting them personally to to the polling booths.
