What was it that the president of the Malta Developers Association said the other day about donating money to both parties and supporting neither in particular?

There are so many photos of Dom Mintoff with half-dressed (half-naked) youngish Socialist men that one really starts to wonder.

In Malta, things stare at people but they still miss all the clues.

I stared at the MDA website and got a few others.

4th Floor must be a busy place.

Is it split into subsections: National and International?

Perhaps Mrs Farrugia can tell us?

      • Blackadder says:

Let’s not be silly in nobody’s interest. Mintoff loved women and had some success because of his position, power and a certain charisma. He only liked men around him because they were yes-men and, like all dictators he absolutely had to have this constant approvation and adulation to bolster his ego.

        Including “Smiles”?

“…I brought him breakfast in bed. He asked me to sit down beside him so we could chat…”

    • Osservatore says:

@Blackadder – I was not referring specifically to Mintoff but to his circle.

I would however have no qualms about referring to him because if he swung one way, it does not, in any way whatsoever imply, that he may not have swung the other way too.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Sandro Chetcuti trying to pass himself off as an ex-Nationalist who recently saw the light and voted PL?

And about the PM’s comment on jobs to the Nationalists, I heard from the grapevine that the grumbling from the grass roots actually is about the cushy jobs for the switchers like Robert Musumeci, Marisa Micallef (Leyson), John Bundy (though I’m not aware that he’s had his iced-bun yet), JPO, Franco Debono etc.

If Muscat was referring to this then he is really hollow.

What is this? The Maltese Family Adams photo? Why is nobody smiling?

  4. Min Jaf says:

However much Sandro Chetcuti admired Mintoff, Sandro’s youngest has a different attitude – the contents of her nose were of greater importance.

  5. Manuel says:

Soon enough, Chetcuti will surely help his friend, the Baron of Mistra, to start development on the pre-election 2008 much contested plot of land there.

What a load of crap have we been saddled with thanks to some intelligent switchers.
