Or maybe there HASN’T been a sighting

Why do I have the niggling feeling that somebody wrote this interview on Sai Mizzi’s behalf and supplied the publisher with a random holiday pic from the family album?
If you look at the right hand side of the page in the link below, you’ll see that they’ve got other interviews with Malta Enterprise people, including Mario Vella and Chris ‘Beach Wedding Waistcoat’ Cardona.
So I’m assuming that they all got done in a batch by Malta Enterprise’s PR people or its payroll journalist Karl Stagno Navarra, and Mrs Konrad Mizzi might not even know about it.

Is that snow in the background? It’s Spring in China
These interviews are a paid PR exercise – paid, that is, by Malta.
I think you are right. This description gives them away. No mention of her husband the minister and her family life in Malta.
“Sai Mizzi Liang is originally from China, but has Maltese citizenship and was appointed as Malta Enterprise’s investment promotion envoy for Asia in September of 2013.”
She fell from the skies and found herself in Malta.
Sai and Konrad Mizzi are separated, and not just geographically, hence her posting and salary. They’ve split up.
So that’s alimony, not a salary.
I hope that the Maltese taxpayers are not providing “alimony” under the guise of a most generous salary.
Perhaps it’s easier to spot a yeti.
I don’t believe that is even her.
Have a look at the photo of Sai Mizzi back in March 2013.

I am sure that there are hundreds of women who would leave their husbands for 13,000 euro a month.
Meanwhile it’s 266 days to the inauguration of the new power station.
Two people have put their necks on line.
Joseph Muscat and Konrad Mizzi have both declared that they will resign if the new power station is not operative by March 9th 2015
Does that image say investment promotion envoy to you?
When the peaces of the puzzle do not fit or the picture is not complete it just means that there are some missing peaces and not that what you have is all there is!
You are right, Daphne. I got that feeling to. The article is like an English composition we used to do for our O levels.
It also uses the Royal “we” in many of the answers.
My people have analysed the interview and it’s definitely the work of a non-Chinese speaker who knows more about Malta’s economy than China’s. Take your pick.
it would have been more credible if this interview gave out details of some concrete investments not simply advertising her role. it’s been more than a year now and all we got so far is a promise that “she will deliver soon.”
Passports?
Strangely enough, Notary Charles Mangion is still indicated as ‘Chairman of Enemalta’ when, actually, he has already resigned that post following his election to the House instead of Alfred Sant.
It seems that Karl Stagno Navarra needs a little up-dating on local news.
daphne, have you realised that maltatoday’s ranking suddenly is five from 111 on alexa.com after you highlighted that you are one of the most topped ranked according to alexa. they must be tampering with the ‘hits’ !
