Be the first to find Sai Mizzi’s address anywhere in China and you will win a free trip to Qatar with a Malta government delegation, and the chance to see World Bank-blacklisted Shiv Nair struggle to hold back his tears in an interview with Judge Mintoff’s best buddy Saviour Balzan.

Be the first to find her telephone number, and we will throw in a matching earrings and pendant set courtesy of Manuel and Codruta Mallia.

Malta Enterprise’s special envoy to China still has no publicly accessible address or telephone number though she was appointed 11 months ago.

We are assuming that this address and telephone number exist because it is not possible for a special envoy to be still without a phone and office after almost a year. This is why we are offering our grand prize to the first person to find them. So get your sleuthing hats on.

Either that, or we are going to have to conclude that we’re dealing here with lying frauds who are paying a cabinet minister’s wife a package of 13,000 euros a month for sweet FA.

Or maybe she’s still working off her kitchen table in her fully-expensed residence without pillows and sheets.

The office and a fixed phone line were not in the contract – so maybe that is why she doesn’t have them, like she did not get the pillows and sheets.

But she is being paid for a “fully expensed mobile phone,” so we should be entitled to have that number published by now.

Well, Shangai is a port so perhaps Sai Mizzi lives on a junk. That would be so appropriate, given the government which has engaged her.

Does the President of Malta have a dress allowance too?

I think you’re right, Konrad’s been laid off.

To think he was this popular last May.

I’ll bet that we will eventually find out that she was living with relatives, and that we are paying a fictitious rent.

Did Sai Mizzi hand out business cards to the journalists who interviewed her, while she held back her tears, in China?

Here are the contacts of Malta Enterprise overseas offices:

There is nothing about China, and that has nothing to do with the size of the operation. ‘

In Libya they had two employees. Noel was not replaced. In Dubai they had one junior. Anthony was not replaced either. In both countries they have a functional modest office.

But in China they invested in a ‘special envoy’ then didn’t give her an office – and it’s obviously because she doesn’t need one as she isn’t doing any job at all.

I have her Russian mobile phone number. Does that count? What’s the prize?

  12. bob-a-job says:

Her address is probably on Yellow Pages but I don’t read Chinese.
