Look at what failed Labour Party candidate and anti-EU campaigner Sharon Ellul Bonici has just uploaded on Facebook. She’s presenting that picture as being of Islamic invaders ready to take over Malta right now.
But a quick search by a reader reveals that she’s taken it from a BBC report and the photograph is from 1991, when shiploads of Albanian boys and men departed for Italy – many of them arriving in Malta instead, as many of you will remember.

They are experts in making the bad look good, the corrupt practice to be seen as legitimate, the repayment for 30 pieces of silver for services rendered as sheer meritocracy, and the sour GonziPN long-play as the Malta Taghna Lkoll new chant. This is how PL wants to ride the wave. But a time will come when the shit will hit the fan, and all will realise what a fake governance this is and that they will be held accountable for each and every obscenity they are making us go through. I am more concerned that this ‘laissez faire’ attitude of letting everything under the sun pass as a given, is not ferociously challenged by the general public, as was done pre last election. The PL lackeys are now letting sleeping dogs lie.
Do these people know what they are doing. Are bidders supposed to meet the minister or is there a procedure to be followed.

I don’t think Sharon thinks we are idiots. I am sure that she knows that some people see right through her. She merely thinks that the majority of the Maltese are idiots, and that they believe everything that is spoon-fed to them. Unfortunately, to some extent, she is right. The results of the general elections, and more recently, the EU elections, show this.
Not only is she a liar but a malicious one at that.

I don’t think it’s necessary to be a liar to be a member of the Labour Party, but it certainly helps if you want to advance in the hierarchy.
