Shouldn’t members of the Opposition be tweeting this way? Isn’t there even one of them with a bit of personality?

Personality? It’s the balls they’re collectively lacking. After the police corruption circus what we get from the leader of the Opposition is this Facebook post:

I agree that Dr Busuttil should give credit where due, however, in light of the bad behaviour in the police force we’ve been seeing over the past year this shows clear fear of addressing key issues.

We keep being fooled into thinking that he has learned his lesson.

    • Joe Fenech says:

Busuttil hasn’t yet made the shift from Brussels.

      • Jozef says:

        Absolutely.

Muscat’s messing around with ‘jurisdiction’ for some financial services agreement with a place which thrives on absolute lack of transparency.

Cyprus financial ‘hub’, here we come.

Busuttil better decide what he wants to do, before we wreck our reputation and end up depending on China.

        Because that’s the plan.

If he feels isolated inside the party, perhaps he should start looking outside Pieta’.

      • ciccio says:

Muscat had said that he would follow the Cyprus model.

  2. Joe Fenech says:

PN has lost its battling spirit. Realistically: which PN politician has the steel teeth Fenech Adami had?

I am very sorry for Simon Busuttil who would make a very fine politician had Malta been a country with deep rooted democracy or, at least, a stable, civilised country. Malta is neither France, nor Germany, nor the Czech Republic.

    • Jozef says:

The PN has lost any sense of belonging.

Pity, now that Labour went over the edge.

    • CiVi says:

And when there is no opposition to evil, it multiplies.

      • Joe Fenech says:

PN has adopted the ‘cool’, ‘laissez faire’ attitude: it is no longer ‘cool’ to organise protest marches or to virulently voice one’s ideas.

  3. Bob says:

Why doesn’t Muscat hang around Merkel as a lapdog? That is one ass I would lick if I was in his place. I would rather be compared to Germany in 2014 than China.

  4. Be-witched says:

A more proper tweet from the Leader of the Opposition should have read: While congratulating The Police Force on its 200th Anniversary, let’s all pray it is not heading back to its awful past of the 1980s.

  5. Tabatha White says:

Personality is just the right word.

    H. P. Baxxter oozes personality.

There’s another word for the Opposition: prioritization.

    A third: Punch.

    Punch, personality and prioritization.

That would make a heck of an immediate difference.
