Top comment on the subject of John Dalli

Posted by Bob-a-Job (though I seem to have read it elsewhere on the subject of somebody else):

I’ve never seen someone claw himself out of the gutter, and having achieved that handsomely, fight so desperately to get back in.

If this were a cartoon, there would be dollar signs on Dalli's eyeballs. How it all began: Dalli in Gaddafi's tent in 1987 (wearing white socks)

    Yes, right. Libya and money.

I offended the entire nation during the Libyan War when I told everyone where they should fornicate with their “business”. Labour supporters hated it because it was me. Nazzjonalistti twajba were aghast because il-business dejjem tajjeb, heqq.

No it isn’t. The love affair with Libya has been nothing but trouble for us decent citizens.

You all claim it was to the mutual benefit of both countries. Like hell it was.

The only ones to benefit on this side were a few millionaire bazuzli like John Dalli.

And yet it is his sort who crafted Malta’s Libyan policy for thirty years, right up to 2011. I hope, for our sake, that ISIS get their hands on Gaddafi’s rolodex.

Now we will go through it all over again, with China, for the next 30 years. Gaddafi paid our children allowances, and China will pay for free childcare. “Ghax il-business dejjem tajjeb, heqq.”

That’s what Mario Demarco said, in tones so gushing you’d think he was the Prime Minister. And Simon Busuttil rushed to repeat much the same thing.

I didn’t plagiarise that line but I would be interested to know if someone’s used something similar.

Mrs Merkel has just joined the queue for some lucrative investment with Communist China in spite of her welknown antipathy for anything to do with communism that stems from her childhood in communist East Germany during the cold war.
Germany , like Malta, ”qatt ma irrifjutat qamh”.

      What a stupid comment.

Daphne has already explained this, and you should know better.

Germany is an economic powerhouse of 80 million people, right at the political centre of Europe. Malta is a nobody. When China invests in Germany it’s investing in a fraction of the German economy. When it invests in Malta, it’s pretty much buying up the whole place.

Malta is the paradise of scum of lowlife. Besides, it’s your own country and government you should be holding to account. Or are we scared of Joseph?
