  1. Taghna biss biss says:

Nawguralek tmur holiday mill-aqwa minn fuq dahar Toni Abela u Aaron Farrugia. Pero jkolli nghid Joe Muscat ihallasielhom huwa stess mill-flus li jiehu tal-kerha tal-Alfa.

  2. A>. Charles says:

The majority of your readers know that you are in the right and I hope that these two will be put in their place.

  3. Felix says:

Well done, Daphne. I know you do not need my ‘well done’, but I have to express it. A very big well done.

Our government is made up of people who think that they can say and do anything they like.

This is the “moviment” they were creating before the elections, and we were not seeing clearly what it was all about. We had thought then that it was all about economies, and policies etc.

Now, some say, that their arrogant attitude is the result of the nine seat majority in parliament. Far from it. Those who say this, have not yet fathomed these people. PL was arrogant in opposition as it is now. Unfortunately some people, actually a lot of them, preferred not to see then, and only looked one way. Now they are also seeing a clearer picture.

    Next headline.

    • ciccio says:

“Record number of libel cases handled by Freeport Corporation chairman – exceeds number of containers processed at Marsaxlokk terminal”

  5. John Higgins says:

Good luck. As Dr. Eddie Fenech Adami used to say “Is-sewwa jirbah zgur”.

[Daphne – In fact, it does not. He wasn’t right about that at all. The British idiom is far more accurate: virtue is its own reward.]

    • Felix says:

Is-Sewwa Jirbah Zgur” was an invitation or rather an encouragement to fight for the truth, which is exactly what Daphne is doing. Dr. Eddie Fenech Adami wanted us all to believe in what we wanted. We did. And we won.

    • xifajk says:

Well I don’t think that he wasn’t completely wrong.

      I’d say:

Is-sewwa jirbah zgur, illum jew ghada.

    • White coat says:

Is-sewwa jirbah zgur, fl-ahhar, imma l-hazen ma jmut qatt.

  6. Clifford says:

Labour say (or used to say) that Daphne is on the PN payroll. She doesn’t need to. PL et al are doing a good job themselves. Daphne, I hope you will enjoy your holiday compliments of Aaron Farruugia aka elve and Toni Abela

  7. pale blue my foot! says:

Nail them hard Daphne. They deserve no less.

  8. Sister Ray says:

He was thinking beyond our lifetime.

  9. julia montebello says:

sour grapes, you’re jealous cause your friend is not chairman anymore? all of your friends are on a long break and I think it will be a very long one, cool down and go have a break yourself or maybe call someone of your international network of spies and ask for some entertainment or drama they are used to it.

[Daphne – I wish somebody, just once, would write in to disprove the theory, or at least cast doubt on it, that you have to be stupid and/or illogical to be a committed Labour supporter. Yes, I’m jealous because my friend is not chairman anymore. That really follows, doesn’t it. I used to love getting free rides in all those jolly containers.]

    • Grace says:

Julia probabbli li jew int jew xi uhud minn familtek hadu xi kariga issa u miskina qed tara wisq bi kbir.

Jekk tahseb li ser taghmlu xi 25 sena kif ghamlu l-PN, nghajdlek li zgur fuq li zgur ma ghandkomx cans. Il-pappa li qed tiehdu dalwaqt tispiccalkom.

      Bil-poplu ma tidhaqx il-hin kollu.

      • julia montebello says:

qatt ma gejt bzonn l-ebda partit f’hajti u lanqas ha nigi bzonn serrah mohhok grace, that’s why I don’t care ikunx hemm partit jew iehor fil-gvern, mhux bhal xi whud li qishom mietilhom xi hadd tal-familja jekk il-partit taghhom ma jkunx fil-gvern, minn jaf ghalfejn jaghmlu hekk? nahseb iktar qed titbaqbaq int ghax il-pappa tieghek u ta shabek spiccat xi sena u nofs ilu.

[Daphne – Il-pappa tieghi qatt ma giet minn ebda gvern, ja mara injoranta. Ghalhekk dejjem hdimt u ghadni qed nahdem. Work: you should try it some time.]

    • Tabatha White says:

Reading this level of attitude and expression is like observing a guest to a relatively formal event turn up in a shiny overly-tight lycra catsuit with Christmas lights all through it.

      What’s the message Julia?

We don’t even think that way, but you wouldn’t have a clue.
