The German figure does not include much allowance for car export as most of their cars sold in China are also made in China.
On an anecdotal basis I gather that some of Malta’s German residents are getting increasingly uneasy with the actions of the Malta Govt. No surprise. This may not be a particularly vocal group but it has a high professional profile. Any one of them triggering a contingency to move out of Malta en bloc could be followed by others of substance.

He is following in Mintoff’s footsteps. As reported yesterday in the press, at that time the American Ambassador in Italy had written that Mintoff, prime minister of 300,000 people wanted to Lord it over the rest of the world.
