Taken from Malta Today: It’s almost something Maltese that we tend to keep information to ourselves rather than sharing it and gaining more information in the process. It’s a problem we see in our departments here in Malta as well,” Muscat added.

Joseph Muscat is a prime example.

  2. Ta'Sapienza says:

    Shameless.

The Solution: Let’s move from red tape to red silk.

The buffoon is obviuosly unaware that the EU is China’s largest trading partner – with German having signed within the past year 30 billion euro of trade agreements with China and Britain 20 billion euro of trade agreements with China. The German figure does not include much allowance for car export as most of their cars sold in China are also made in China.

On an anecdotal basis I gather that some of Malta’s German residents are getting increasingly uneasy with the actions of the Malta Govt. No surprise. This may not be a particularly vocal group but it has a high professional profile. Any one of them triggering a contingency to move out of Malta en bloc could be followed by others of substance.

The infantile twerp with the title of Prime Minister is obscessed with talking at his low life supporters oblivious to the fact that normal people from Germany and elsewhere are mortified by his actions: By the way, is that Glenn Bedingfield still his aide-de camp? (sorry about the pun)

Minn dejjem kien jahseb li jifhem f’kollox, u issa li hu prim ministru jahseb li hu l-oraklu li kulhadd ghandu jaghti widen. Malajr ninsewh il-passat fejn irridu, u f’dan il-kaz vera li l-passat huwa garanzija tal-futur.

  7. anthony says:

The man should stick exclusively to reading prepared texts even if these are written by idiots.

  8. Neil says:

What’s he trying to say though, that EU nations trade solely and strictly with each other, and never venture outside of EU borders?

Does he think his stupid mutterings are some deep and miraculous revelation?

    Is the man insane?

    • ciccio says:

He is pushing China’s agenda. Think about their solar panels war with the US, for instance.

    • Jozef says:

No, he just wants to revise Malta’s membership, or so he thinks, to flood the EU with China’s ‘products’.

Karmenu Vella had hinted at something couple of years back, candidate commissioner remember

      • ciccio says:

And AST at the World Trade Organisation.

        Bingo.

Both Karmenu Vella and AST were accompanying Mintoff to Chairman Mao’s China in 1972.

    • Carmelo Micallef says:

To the dimwits he addresses his comments to, these are revelations from the mountain top.

  9. bob-a-job says:

There are so many ‘U’ turns in his road-map he ought to get a Global Positioning System to keep him on track.

Meanwhile its 214 days 3 hours 59 minutes to the opening of the new power station or Muscat’s resignation whichever that will be.

    Also spracht Zarathustra.

  11. Betty says:

‘Euripe should start to tink positive.’
    That’s what he meant.

    • Tabatha White says:

      Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy.

Does anyone think he means the EU should consider Azeri power supply come the now 4 year countdown?

Any bets on the commissions written into that contract?

      Beds, Manwel?

  12. P Shaw says:

Does the idiot want to anchor Europe with a system that is highly likely to collapse. His judgement is as sound now as ten years ago when he campaigned against the EU.

  13. M. Mallia says:

He is following in Mintoff’s footsteps. As reported yesterday in the press, at that time the American Ambassador in Italy had written that Mintoff, prime minister of 300,000 people wanted to Lord it over the rest of the world. Now Muscat has been preaching to the Commonwealth, and to the EU how things should be done. Mintoff was called Malta’s saviour, perhaps Muscat will become the World’s saviour now.
