Malta’s political clique of Glitterati (jahasra, how sad) spent Santa Marija weekend en masse at the Kempinski in Gozo with their families: the prime minister and Michelle, Malta’s ambassador to Belgium and former Labour Party mass meeting MC Ray Azzopardi, Transport Malta chairman James Piscopo, the PM’s chief of staff Keith Schembri and Mrs Kasco, MEPA CEO Johann Buttigieg, Enemalta CEO Frederick Azzopardi, the PM’s spokesman Kurt Farrugia and various other Taghna Lkollers.
How very….glamorous.

Shoot me first.
Ray Azzopardi must get a hard-on every time they call him “Eccellenza”.
And worse when they call him “plenipotentiary”?

Look for the silver lining.
At least they aren’t shaming us anywhere outside Malta. It’s only Gozo.
Unless you find the image of them running riot in say the Ramatuelle appealing…
jaqq
I’m sure they are planning another event in Gozo to meet with the Pittjolies (who chose to marry and live in France).
Imagine paying for a weekend at the Hotel Kempinksi in Gozo and finding that bunch of moneyed louts round the swimming-pool.
A week earlier, Johann Buttigieg was with Social Policy Minister Michael Farrugia in Ragusa. Michael Farrugia was, until he became social policy minister, the PS responsible for the Planning Authority. There were nine in that Ragusa group, including Salvu tal-Elbros, on a private yacht.
So the liars and clowns congregate. What a show of force it must have been. How pathetic. How come Konrad Mizzi did not tag along? Ran out of his Euro 25, possibly.
