An ethical dilemma for the seriously unethical

Published: October 26, 2014 at 2:36pm

Robert Musumeci, the architect and Labour Party mover and shaker, has become a lawyer at last. Will we now be presented with the unseemly spectacle of him pleading and defending cases before his consort Magistrate Herrera, justifying himself with the technical loophole that she is not his wife, his sister or his daughter?

Will Robert Musumeci, now a lawyer, plead and defend cases in Magistrate Herrera's court?

    (He’s still in 5th year)

To all those who’d like to see the PN fail, carry on playing their game.

Leeches like these will jump onto any bandwagon the moment there’s hints of success.

Not when they responded to Busuttil and the PN when everything seemed lost.

Perhaps The Phoenix might care to respond as well. Given that one should not be an ‘idiot’, seriously doubt s/he will.

    • The Phoenix says:

Pray , to what do you seek a reply? For calling David Griscti a useful idiot? I certainly didn’t jump on the PN bandwagon, more like left it after the elections.

I did my best in those elections knowing deep down that it was a hopeless cause. Oh, I did warn Simon Busuttil about his leeches well before the election, but he didn’t listen. Nor is he listening now.

    • The Phoenix says:

Oh, I forgot. Leeches play the long game. The goal is not 2019 but 2023

    • Jozef says:

I see you don’t think the PN should try its best to win the next election.

Now where did you call David a useful idiot? You didn’t, just an idiot. That does make him a bit of a schemer right?

As if backing Simon Busuttil during the leadership race and accepting to support his efforts the moment Busuttil became leader at the PN’s lowest moment in its history is jumping on some bandwagon.

I think you’re confused. Or maybe just lost in the undercurrents still wafting around Pieta’.

But then, there’s lots of orphans out there.

Good to know you were part of the old guard, makes you a bit reluctant to admit past mistakes. Or so you seem intent on confirming.

I’m taking an interest in how the PN can rebuild itself, am I an idiot? Do I have to consider the old guard doing its bloody best to prove us wrong?

Sweet, go on, tell Simon Busuttil your intention is to work against him. 2023 you said.

Just keep in mind we do not have an agenda other than restoring the PN to its rightful place. Government.

In this place that is not an aspiration, more a duty.

      Anything else is Labour.

The joys of a two party political system. Yes, you’re extremely familiar. Now go play Maltatoday.

He hasn’t graduated as a lawyer. He is still in his 5th year, pestering buddies for notes.

‘justifying himself with the technical loophole that she is not his wife, his sister or his daughter’

This loophole also allows homosexuals not married to their partners to employ or accept tenders from them in clear breach of regulations.

    The law needs immediate updating.
