Apparently these Chinese workers are promised a monthly salary of Eur 600 and when they arrive in Malta, they are paid much less with the excuse that they have to repay their relocation, rent and so forth.
That amount is below the minimum wage anyway.

I find it hard to believe that the Labour inquisitive media did not know about these Chinese slaves.
