  1. KALANCC MA (cantab) says:

This turncoat has come a long way since then, or has he? While she is still there lurking in the dark and befriending Marine Le Pen.

  2. H.P. Baxxter says:

And Metsola, Casa and Comodini Cachia endorsed him. In 2018, they will be asking me to endorse them.

Any faith I had in my politicians has long since evaporated.

  3. canon says:

    Juncker bela’ kanna b’Karmenu Vella.

  4. Alexander Ball says:

It’s like taking a dump and still being able to smell it years in the future.

    And why Smalltown Boy?

  5. observer says:

What utter – unashamedly utter – rubbish.

  6. Felix says:

Vera imbarazz! Thanks for coming back, by the way.

  7. Can you take what this gentleman says seriously? His words seem to be tailored to suit the occasion.

  8. Francesca says:

What a sick, uneducated bunch of hamalli.

  9. pablo says:

Sharon Ellul Bonici was anti-EU and then got a paying job in Brussels with the anti-EU lobby. Later, when chasing an MEP’s salary, she sued The Times for libel for simply referring to her anti-EU hysterics.

She swore she was never anti-EU but only a “EU sceptic”. Of course, she lost the case.

She’ll probably one day claim to have voted “Yes” in the 2004 EU referendum and to have always been a “convinced European”. And when the journalists ask for Alfred Sant’s reaction, he’ll say “it’s no surprise.”

As usual, Baxxter is spot on.

    • H.P. Baxxter says:

U mela. And why does it have to be me? There are countless others whose job it is to hold our government to account. And yet. AND YET.

Our politicians have failed us. Our opinion leaders have failed us. Our intellectuals have failed us.

Then we whine about the rise of Norman Lowell.

      • La Redoute says:

How rude to say your opinion leaders have failed you – and here, of all places.

      • H.P. Baxxter says:

I count just Daphne Caruana Galizia and Ivan Fenech. The exceptions that prove the rule. Two out of dozens of columnists and pundits.

I’m not being rude – I’m merely stating fact.

  11. The Observer says:

“Natural fighter”. Oh dear, what a disgrace. Welcome back Daphne, missed real news.

  12. Optimist says:

The same Sharon who posted that pic of the Albanians fleeing to Italy from 20 years ago and claimed it was Libyans.

  13. Manuel says:

Baxxter is absolutely right. The endorsement of il-Guy by the three PN MEPs is another blunder for both the PN and for Dr. Busuttil, following the endorsement of Ms. Coleiro Preca for the Presidency.

What’s next? Fake consultation on the suspended council elections? Or maybe another Muscatian trap for Dr. Busuttil about the hunting referendum?

It seems to me that Dr. Busuttil is very obliging to remain in Opposition for ten years.
