Transport Malta’s employees lead by example

Published: October 22, 2014 at 6:04pm

This photograph was taken yesterday afternoon in Merchants Street, Valletta. The Transport Malta employee sitting at the wheel was slumped in his seat apparently for the duration, having nice chats with friends and acquaintances leaning in through the window to help him pass the time of day on a double yellow line and half the pavement.

Has anyone noticed that many government vehicles are now being hired from private companies?

In spite of the fact that the vehicle bears the email address of Transport Malta, photos find themselves on Daphne`s site. Transport Malta is in dire need of a router to route their mail to the proper address and bypass Daphne`s. Is that scrambling?

Has anyone heard anything about that car parked on St. Luke’s Hospital helipad, preventing a helicopter carrying a patient from landing?

How long does an inquiry take especially since the car had registration plates and presumably the owner could be traced in minutes?
