Here’s the Justice Minister, concentrating hard while Inspector Gafa is testifying

Here’s our florid friend Owen, focusing intently on Inspector Gafa as he speaks at the PAC hearing dwar l-iskandlu taz-zejt in parliament around half an hour ago. Shouldn’t he, of all people present, be paying attention when the inspector speaks? He’s the Minister of Justice. And beyond that, it’s basic good manners.
If you’ve summoned somebody to speak to you, and he’s sitting there doing so instead of going home to supper and a hot bath, bother to listen.

A good guess would be that he was reading this blog to get updated with the comments concerning him.
Curious, that is not a good guess.
That is a certainty.
It just cannot be otherwise.
That would be humanly impossible.
When you are being ridiculed and shamed and exposed for what you really are in real time before your entire nation, what else would you do?

Happened to turn my head towards the TV, there was a close up of the Finance Minister (or should that read the MInister for the Great Leap Forward in the National Deficit?). He looked so worried and older by years. I always measured our national economic success, or lack of it, by the minister’s expression. This one did not look nice at all.
I remember Joseph Muscat being asked during the election campaign about how he was going to reduce the national deficit and his short answer was: “Inehhu il-hala” which translates to: “We shall eliminate wasteful spending”. Considering that our national deficit has shot up to near records high then we can safely say that Joseph Muscat has increased wasteful spending by record amounts.
Another lie exposed.
Owen Bonnici was shred to pieces by Inspector Gafa who seems not to be afraid at all of either Muscat or Owen or the bullfrog or all of them or the whole of the PL cabal.
And he exposed this cabal for what it really is. It’s worse than we thought.
